WALK AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF RECOLETA

It is one of the most elegant residential zones in Buenos Aires. It is characterized by its French style, exclusive avenues, palaces, mansions, bars, and first class restaurants. The neighborhood's name originates from the Recoletos Padres (Recollect fathers) who built the Convent and the Pilar Church, which encouraged the neighborhood's development. Also, one finds the Recoleta Cemetery, the National Museum of Fine Arts, and the Glace Palace, all of which are vitally important to Buenos Aires' culture.

Another attraction is the shopping tour in Buenos Aires Design, dedicated to the theme of its design, architecture and decoration.

TOUR THE HISTORIC DISTRICT

The tour of the city's historic buildings includes a walk through the emblematic Plaza de Mayo (May Plaza), surrounded by the Government House, the Town Hall, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and is close to the Illuminated Block, headquarters to the country's most historically important cultural, educational and religious institutions.

One of the biggest attractions in the Illuminated Block is the presence of a network of tunnels built between the 17th and 18th centuries that formed an underground network linking the churches, the public buildings and el Fuerte, which proudly stands at 5 meters.

PUERTO MADERO

Located in the central zone of the city and with a view of the river, Puerto Madero has established itself as one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. The street names pay homage to distinguished women in the history of Argentina. It has an exclusive residential center, gastronomy and businesses in the city.

TEATRO COLÓN

The Teatro Colón (Colon Theater) is one of the five most important opera theaters in the world, for its size, acoustics and trajectory. Comparable to the Milano Scala, to the Vienna State Opera, and the Paris Opera, it is a site devoted to those who are presented there and a must see classical music location.
